LearningOutLoud Literacy Review:

The LearningOutLoud website ( www.learnoutloud.com ) is an interactive learning website that offers free destinations for over 50,000 of the best audio books, podcasts, free courses, free documentaries, and videos you can learn from. Currently, the LearningOutLoud website is a one-stop-shop for audio and video materials that can be used either inside or outside the classroom.  There is a wide selection of audio books, lectures, and speeches that can be uploaded to an Ipod or Streamed live to a desktop. In addition, this website is best known for offering the Net’s largest catalog of educational materials and downloads. LearnOutLoud ranks 8th among Audio Books sites. LearnOutLoud.com's goal since 2005 is to showcase the best audio and video learning content on the Web, and their mission hasn’t changed until this day.
The LearningOutLoud website provides a free directory that features free Arts & Entertainment, Biography, Business, Education & Professional, History, Language, Literature, Philosophy, Politics, Religion & Spirituality, Science, Social Science, Technology, and much more. These are free for teachers, parents, and students of all ages on six of the seven continents to download with a free subscription fee.  The website includes a whole effective learning system that features meditations, affirmations, relaxations, visualization, and self-hypnosis techniques that explore over 50 aspects of self-development, dealing with the mind & body.
The website’s homepages take you to a variety of options accessing free stuff, kids' course and book selection, and a blog that promotes learning in all the subjects in school. In addition, the homepage options take you to the Resources Section that present the first and most comprehensive database of audio & video learning publisher & retailer on the internet. Each of these publisher pages has a description and key details to help educators, parents, and students find the resources that interest them and most likely want to discover. This website directs educators, parents, and learners to the top authors & narrators in many fields with information about them and a list of all their audio & video resources. Significantly, this will help educators incorporate this audio & video narrative/exploratory teaching in their classrooms or online course to increase student learning in reading and writing.
The two features this website offers that I found most interesting are the Arts and Entertainment and literature option. It featured free painting, architecture, sculpture audio, and literal audio and video story recordings. These are all found to be very useful content knowledge and educators and parents to use in the classroom, homeschooling, self-development, and educational growth.
Furthermore, the LearnOutLoud website in general offers careers, exam preparation, journalism, law, medical, teaching, and writing. This website also offers specific tips and tricks that will help first year teachers run their classrooms smoothly on a daily basis. On the other hand, this site helps educators and parents experience first-hand in all the subjects in school through experiencing education through audio books. LearningOutLoud gives the opportunity to take you to a variety of audio and video books that give educators, parents, and learners access to letter writing, reading, books and novels, and reading comprehension. In addition, this site's content impacts student literacy using a variety of internet tools that can help develop student reading and writing skills. Overall, this website is a great site for educators and parents that educate on how to incorporate and use audio and video content effectively for educational purposes in the classroom and online classes.
