International Literacy Association Newsletter Weekly Project: Effective Literacy Website #2 Amplify Reading: By Graham Henry

Amplify Reading is a literacy program for K–8 students that provides activities that are both fun and engaging to reach each student needs in reading and writing.  This program has a vast number of stories that are made to engage students in personalized reading instruction and practice.  Excite and engage your class with game-based learning within a literacy program that supports teachers in building their students’ skills in decoding, fluency, comprehension, and close reading. This program also integrates Science and Math into its literacy program so students can be engaged any subject.  Many of the contents in this program is interactive and very appealing to young learners and everything has been filtered by professionals in this area to so parents and educators can trust that the program is doing its job.

This program provides contents that are aligned to the core curriculum.  Addition programs are also focused on intervention programs including supplemental programs to address any level of students.  Not only are the stories made to be age-appropriate narratives, but they're also very engaging and will keep the student's interest peaked until the very end.

According to the many reviews that were given by not only educators but also by parents, this program is excellent and will surely have great results if it is used appropriately.  The only downside this program will have to some educators out there is that you have to pay for the subscription.  Besides that, I would definitely give this Literacy website 2 thumbs up.
